To make the world a better place for ANIMALS you could ;
1. Visit the Animal Rescue Site http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com/clickToGive/home.faces?siteId=3 and sign up to receive a daily email reminder to click and trigger a donation of food to a hungry animal. If you did this everyday you would send 219 meals to hungry animals each year. The sponsors on the site pay for the food and it costs you nothing but 5 seconds a day. Can you spare 5 seconds?
2. Join the Sloth Club www.slothclub.org The Sloth Club promotes the concept of doing less, living simply and finding joy in our life without consuming meaningless things. It also seeks to protect the Ecuadorian Rainforest Habitat of the Sloth.

4. Build a frog pond in your garden and plant some grasses around it that are indigenous to your area. “If you build it they will come” - a line from a stupid baseball film but it truly works. I have 5 frog ponds and 2 fish ponds in my garden and only 3 days after building the last 2 frog ponds in my backyard frogs had moved into the 5 star frog resort!!
5. Pledge to Stop eating shrimp/prawns. Why? For every prawn consumed 20 or more fish, crabs, sea sponges, sea cucumbers, turtles and other marine life are thrown back DEAD into the sea. 1. Purchase Only Fair Trade or Rainforest
2. Feed a Hungry Person. Visit www.hungersite.com and develop a start up routine for your computer that automatically gets your computer to visit the Hunger Site daily which triggers a donation of food to someone who needs it. It costs you nothing except 5 seconds daily. Can you spare 5 seconds?
3. Give Blood. If you are able give blood regularly. See www.donateblood.com.au
4. Register to Be An Organ Donor. Your organs are no good to you once you are dead but could help at least 7 others who need them desperately. See www.hic.gov.au/organ
5. Hipporollers! Click on www.hipporoller.org The Hippo Roller carries 90 litres of water. In most underdeveloped countries the collection of water is left to the women and children. 1. Switch off and use Candles for 2hrs a week.

3. Get a ‘NO JUNK MAIL’ sticker. www.catalogue.asn.au Junk Mail = a tree being felled for no GOOD reason.
4. Plant at least one tree. This will consume more than enough CO2 to offset the CO2 you are breathing out.
5. Help Save Rainforest. Visit www.therainforestsite.com and save an area of Rainforest land for free. Once in the site just click on the ‘Save Our Rainforest’ button and your click triggers a donation from the sponsors of the site. Each click saves 1sq.m. of Rainforest. Click everyday for a year and you will have saved 365 square metres, click everyday for the rest of your life and save 2.19 hectares of Rainforest. 6. Use recycled office paper, toilet paper, tissues & paper towels.
7. Go Vegetarian for 2 days each weeks to benefit the environment.

11. Purchase & Use chemical free products. Many can be found at the health food shop or there is a company called Neways who sell online www.neways.com.au Neways products are also not tested on Animals.
12. Plant some plants in your garden or on your verge which are indigenous to your local area.
